The Program

Beyond the pitch

Real football training, real mentorship, real community. Boys and girls aged 8 to 14 — learning the game, and learning about themselves.

Why football

The world's most universal sport.

Football crosses every language, culture, and background. For millions of kids, it's more than a game — it's where discipline, teamwork, and resilience are learned.

At MATE Foundation, football becomes the vehicle for education and social development.

One ball. Twenty-two kids. A language anyone can speak.— On every pitch we play

How the program works

Real training, real mentorship.

Structured football. Trained local coaches. Community roots. Every session is designed to build skill on the pitch — and character off it.

Weekly training

Trained local coaches lead real sessions twice a week — building skill, fitness, and habits that last.

Mentorship & coaching

Coaches and educators stay with every kid. Personal growth sits right next to passing drills.

Community roots

We partner with schools and neighborhoods to build safe spaces where boys and girls aged 8–14 can play, learn, and belong.

On the field

Every week, every pitch.

Show up every week

Consistency is where habits are built. Every kid, every coach, every session — week in, week out.

Work together

Football is a team sport. So is growing up. Kids learn to communicate, trust, and rely on each other long before they master a through-ball.

Leave better

At MATE, football becomes the vehicle for education and social development. One ball. Twenty-two kids. A language anyone can speak.

Who it's for

Built for everyone.

Boys and girls aged 8 to 14 — open to every kid in the community. No experience needed, no fees, no equipment cost. Just show up and play.

Sessions run twice a week, led by trained local coaches who know the neighborhood and the game. We build skill, fitness, and confidence — in that order.
